Md Fahim Sarkar is a highly skilled and detail-oriented finance and accounting professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, management accounting, auditing, taxation, ERP-based accounting systems, and corporate compliance across the manufacturing and textile sectors. He is currently serving in a finance leadership role at a sister concern of the Mondol Group since 1st March 2022, where he is responsible for preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, managing reconciliations, overseeing inventory valuation, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

He has strong expertise in financial analysis, accounts receivable and payable management, bank reconciliation, inter-company transactions, budget variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting. He is actively involved in LC operations, export-import documentation, and coordination with commercial teams for accurate financial and operational alignment. He also plays a key role in developing accounting systems, improving internal controls, and supervising audit activities in accordance with International Accounting and Auditing Standards as adopted in Bangladesh.
Previously, he worked as Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts at Aman Cement Mills Ltd. (a sister concern of Aman Group) from July 2020 to February 2022, where he handled financial statement preparation, inter-company reconciliation, internal audit coordination, and import-export related financial operations. Prior to that, he served as Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts at Blue Planet Knitwear Ltd., gaining further experience in manufacturing finance, reporting, and operational accounting functions.

He completed his Chartered Accountancy articleship (CAcc) from Hoque Bhattacharjee Das & Co., Chartered Accountants, under the supervision of Mr. Avijit Bhattacharjee, FCA, where he developed strong foundational expertise in auditing, taxation, financial analysis, and professional ethics.

Academically, he holds an MBS (Master of Business Studies) and BBS in Accounting from the National University of Bangladesh, along with HSC and SSC qualifications with strong academic performance. He is proficient in ERP-integrated systems including SAP Business One, Tally ERP, and QuickBooks, and has strong command over management accounting, financial analysis, credit control, and commercial reporting related to export-import operations.
